Student Scholarships

Scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic standing and financial need. All students are eligible to apply for the following specific scholarships. Application Forms are available in the office. A committee of faculty and administration will select awardees. These scholarships are for one academic year. They can be awarded each year based on examination results and financial need.

Athletic Scholarships

(for achievements in 2009-2010)

  1. 50% of the College Fees for State level sports person. (50% will be charged)
  2. 75% of the College Fees for National level sports person. (25% will be charged)

N.B. This benefit will be given to the students who continue their studies at the college and do not leave during the academic year of scholarship for any reason.

College Sponsored Debating Society Scholarship

N.B. This benefit will be given to the students who continue their studies at the college and do not leave during the academic year of scholarship for any reason.

Government Sponsored Scholarships

Application forms and their requirements are available in the admissions office. The College will forward the completed applications to the appropriate government office.

  1. Women’s Merit Scholarship for students with above 60% marks in preceding class. This scholarship is given to selected candidates by the Directorate of College Education.
  2. Ex-servicemen’s Daughters Scholarship is given to selected candidates by the Directorate of College Education.
  3. Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe Students Scholarship given to selected candidates by the Social Welfare Department.
  4. Other Backward Class Hostellers Scholarship given to selected candidates by the Social Welfare Department.

Note: All government sponsored scholarships are income-based and students are required to submit the necessary documents and testimonials with the application forms.
